On a villa built in the early 20th century, my client asked me a project to expand its ground floor street side and forming a first stage side park.
It was to access the park from the living room instead of going through the entrance side of the house.
So I have the idea of several surfaces at different heights in order to access a serenely park, as a kind of walk with short steps and terraces.
Inspired by Japanese architecture around a garden, and I design my project.
Nature seems to be on one level with surfaces covered in extension with bay windows.
The entire expansion is crowned with flat roofs in zinc and anthracite.
The succession of terraces which can be reached by ramps and stairs are like a kind of "altars".
